Cercarbono Participed in the Cycle of Webinars on Carbon Markets Organized by the Development bank of Latin America Caf

On Thursday, September 29, Natalia Arango, Commercial Director of Cercarbono, participated in the webinar: the value chain of carbon credits, key actors and opportunities, an event organized by the Development Bank of Latin America – CAF.

In the event that had the objective of making known how the value chain of the carbon credit market works, in its different links from origination to commercialization, in the context of Latin America and the Caribbean, Cercarbono explained about the process of certification of carbon credits, the stages that comprise it and the different actors that intervene and are involved in each one of them.

During the space, a discussion was held in which doubts were clarified about: in what types of projects can the certification of the standard be applied, duration of the certification and other technical issues surrounding Cercarbono.

We congratulate CAF for this important event that contributes to generating knowledge about the carbon market, in addition to promoting its growth and development to achieve the planet’s climate change mitigation goals.
